Description |
The first librarian at the Glen Cove Library was Carolyn S. Reed, who later married Library Trustee, Franklin A. Coles, a descendant of one of the five original proprietors of the community that would become Glen Cove. Franklin A. Coles was a former district attorney for Nassau and member of the State Assembly in 1918-1919. |
