Landing Honor Roll of Landing men serving in the armed forces in WW II. It was posted near the Star Tavern on Carpenter Street. Pearl and Joseph Militano, proprietors of the Star Tavern (left of the honor roll) and Mayor Joseph Stanco (extreme right) can be seen posing with the neighborhood group that turned out for a photograph with the memorial. |
