Description |
Visitors arrived by wagon at the Halfway House before the coming of the trolley, and the old wagon sheds can be seen to the left of the building. Located on the corner of Sea Cliff Avenue and Backroad Hill, it was replaced by the Colony Hotel in 1890. (Caption courtesy of Joan Harrison) |
