Description |
The Conway family property of 4 acres was located at 101 Elm Avenue. There were 15 cows and some horses. The barn burned down, supposedly arson. Mr. Conway cut corn for the cows on Young's Farm. Today, Conway Court covers most of the property. Mr. Herbert Conway (b. 1920) lived at 101 Elm Street in Glen Cove. Herbert's grandfather, John Conway came from Ireland and became a citizen of Queens County in 1874. |
