Description |
Seamoor Estate - Seamoor was built for Charles Millard Pratt c. 1980. C.M. Pratt was the eldest son of Charles Pratt and was secretary, director and treasurer of Standard Oil Company as well as the head of the syndicate that ran the LIRR. He was also the president of the Pratt homes to be built in the Dosoris section. Seamoor was named after his wife Mary Seymour Morris. At one point the estate included close to 150 acres. The house burned down in 1969. |
