| Description | Thompson Park, 1909 - These stone pillars still mark the western entrance to Thompson Park (2021) The once elegant housing development was the brainchild of LaMarcus Adna Thompson, who intended to create a "congenial community for 50 families looking for the best at moderate prices." The 14 acres of chestnut woods, which stretched to the Sea Cliff train station beyond the park, were later developed into Trousdell Village. |
