Description |
Paddison Motors in 1928 Walter Paddison was employed by J.P. Morgan Jr. (a chauffeur)). During an assassination attempt on July 4, 1915, Paddison helped save Morgan's life. In gratitude Morgan arranged for Paddison to own a car dealership at 150 School Street. The building was constructed from bricks from the Duryea Starch Works factory In the 1960s the building was the site of "Fabric Discount" a fabric store run by Al Greene. The building was later sold to Rick Smith and has been home to the "Piano Exchange" for many years. |
